STORY
Areté Complete is a multi-disciplinary brand making products at the intersection of art and function. Created in 2014 by artist Paul Moston, he works closely with the world's leading manufacturers of sustainable fast-dry fabrics to develop premium performance garments that seamlessly blend form and function.
Paul studied art history and fine arts at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, Savannah College of Art and Design, and Tyler School of Art. Trained as a painter, he has been relentlessly pursuing a 10-year pursuit of mastering garment and fabric dying techniques specific to sustainable fast-dry fabrics. Paul creates each pattern in his Philadelphia workshop and dyes each shirt individually to order, making each piece a functional work of art.
