Story
Areté Complete by Paul Moston is a multidisciplinary studio exploring the intersection of performance and craftsmanship.
Founded in 2014, the studio began with a focus on performance textiles, developing a luxury sport towel that balanced technical function with tactile, material-driven design. Over time, the work evolved—drawing from principles of Bauhaus, utility, and natural form—to construct garments that function in motion while remaining grounded in craft.
Each piece is designed and dyed in our Philadelphia workshop, working closely with fiber suppliers and manufacturers to develop textiles that balance performance, sustainability, and artistic integrity. Every detail is considered—the weight, the texture, the way a fabric moves—ensuring that the final product is as functional as it is considered.
Areté Complete is not about seasonal collections or trend cycles. It is an ongoing study of material, movement, and form—performance garments made with the same care and intention as the tools we use every day.
